Memories of ParisSeptember 26, 2009I know I promised a big surprise a few days ago, and it is still in process. The last few days have not gone as planned. I am preparing for a Garage Sale! So much work! So as I continue to clean out my house and use this opportunity to become more organized, I have been back at the scanner. Yes, just for fun here are a few photos of my trip to Paris, a decade ago.
I went with my friend Al, and we stayed with her brother for a week while he was in school there. It was a great trip, and very affordable with a free place to sleep.
Here we are at the gardens of Versailles.
A photo of Al, her brother, and some friends of his we had dinner with. It was a very different experience for me to eat a meal with so many different languages at the table. I believe in addition to English and French there were people speaking Spanish, Dutch, and German.
Just one more photo, as I have to get back to work. Here we are at the very top of Sacre Coeur, a beautiful cathedral that has the most amazing views of Paris. This was my favorite of the cathedrals that we visited.
