Dallas Arboretum Playgroup Fun November 03, 2009I'm taking a quick break from editing the last few sessions. I can't wait to share a few more sneak peeks with you in the coming days! For now I just have to show some fun photos I captured when our playgroup took a little outing to the Arboretum. We intended to capture some great pumpkin shots, but being one of the only non-rainy days in the month of October the Arboretum was packed. I did get a few pumpkin shots here and there, but in most of the photos I love from that morning, there is nary a pumpkin to be found.
This one is my absolute favorites of the day. Little Miss O NEVER gives me a smile and is not the type to slow down long enough to let me capture a good photo of her. She is the kind who is constantly on the move and I have no idea how her mother keeps up! So to have a photo of this lovely little smile, is very dear to my heart. (Oh, yes, please don't tell on us as we broke the rules by allowing our girls to put their feet in the water!)
Just like all children they were fascinated with the koi pond and it was impossible to keep them from touching the water.
What could be more fun on a beautiful day than blowing bubbles?
What is the mark of a true friend to a three year old? When they will SHARE their bubbles with you and even let you hold the wand. Princess was thrilled when little Miss K was so willing to share.
I was so proud of these two as they took turns and I loved this smile on K's face.
Have I mentioned yet that the Princess has already chosen a husband? These two are so cute. He says he loves her too... we'll have to see, but for now it is the sweetest thing to see them together.
You think I am kidding, but they are really attached to each other. This is my second favorite photo of the day. Wonder if these will make good black mail one day?
Before I get back to work on my edits, I have to share this precious reminder that life is short so don't forget to stop and smell the flowers. Life's sweetest moments are often the simplest.
