I was like a giddy little girl rolling balls of snow to build a snowman. My parents were in town so I was able to get outside and have a bit of fun. The Princess and Mimi are rolling up the center of our front yard snowman.

We only half finished our snow dude when we went inside to warm up and have a late breakfast. Later in the day we went back out and completed our man. I felt he looked a little lonely all by himself, so I provided him with man's best friend, a snow puppy to play with. Our final result:

Even our poodle had some fun. The snow was so deep he basically had to hop around the back yard. He looked so cute in his little sweater.

When my Hubby came home from work he fashioned a "sled" for the Princess and pulled her around the yard. She squealed with delight and begged for more. She nearly ran her father ragged.

What a wonderful treat for us here in Texas to have a winter wonderland to play in for a few days. I loved to see my daughter tromping through the white carpet, and throwing snowballs at her Mimi and Papa. She made the most perfect little snow angels and sweet little foot prints. Temps here are rising and the snow will soon be gone, but this record breaking snowfall will live on in my heart forever.

Love your snow pictures! The snow was so magical! Our Morgan\'s could be twins playing in the snow.
