It's Thursday Already?

The last few days have been a bit crazy around the Vaughan house. My husband has been working an unreal amount of hours, and I am suddenly a week behind in everything!

So imagine how surprised I was when I finally logged on to my email and found the most lovely photo that Rebecca had taken for this weeks theme of "Reflection". I jumped up and headed straight for my closet, as I had planned to do a shot containing old photos and some old journals of mine. You see I have been doing a bit of personal reflection as of late, and wanted to show that in my photo. Well, it is 1 AM and I could not get the shot I had in mind. I scrapped the whole idea and wracked my brain to think of a photo I could send her. Suddenly, I remembered one from our trip to the mountains this summer! Yeah! Crisis averted, and we both have photos of our three year old daughters to share with you.

Had to share a few photos I found in my closet.....

This one is of the day I got my bike! My brother and I are at our Grandfather's Building Supply store. I think my daughter looks so much like my brother.

Hope my cousin will forgive me for this posting. Here we are a Christmas long, long ago.

OK, just one more Christmas photo of me and then I must get some sleep. As I look at this photo I realize where my daughter gets that, "do I have to be in one more photo" glare. I guess it is genetic.

That one goes great with our theme, Love the moment you caught of your daughters curiosity. You where a cutie Melissa! So look seeing old pictures. You look very proud of your new bike! =)

I love both of the 3 year olds and the great \'reflections\", but the old photos brought a tear to my eye. Melissa, I know where you got your love for capturing the moment and you do a much better job than I did! Thanks for the memories.

I too would have hit the journals stacked in the closet when it comes to thoughts about reflections but somehow there just doesn\'t seem time to sort them all out. ;) Although the duo of 3 year olds is just adorable. I love that hint of fish tail wiggling out of shot and the wonder in the eyes.
