A Little Birdy Told Me | Birthday Party FUNJune 06, 2010A few weeks ago, the Princess was invited to the most adorable Bird themed party ever. I love this idea so much I had to share it with all of you. This beautiful young lady is the Birthday Girl. (Please pardon the curly haired girl who shoved her head into the photo... my daughter is forever trying to get in front of me!)
I just love the adorable top the Birthday Girl's Mother made for her out of such cute bird fabric. The collar really makes it.
Everything at the party was tied into the theme. I am totally smitten with the adorable cupcake picks she used.
The Birthday Girl was turning four and yes her talented Mommy made the cupcakes. Don't they look like they came from a boutique bakery? They tasted even better than they looked; I am starting to crave one as I type.
The bird theme was everywhere, and these little treat buckets were just adorable.
The children all "wrote" notes to the Birthday Girl on the cute little bird cutouts. Her Mommy will put them on her scrapbook as a sweet reminder of the day.
Since both Mother and Daughter love birds, there were little bird touches everywhere, like this small bird planter that was used for cutlery service. Also do you see the yummy birds nests complete with "eggs"?
Here again are some of my friend Debbie's famous cookies! I keep telling her she needs to go into business, but she is to busy being a Mommy and one very crafty lady.
The Birthday Girl gave each of her friends a cute gift that included some binoculars, a bird watching journal, candy bird eggs and other cute treats.
This darling party was really something to chirp about and I am now inspired to create some really cute things for our Princess' 4th Birthday. It really shows how sticking to a simple theme and repeating colors can really take a party to the next level. Have a "tweet" week!
