Fun Photo Friday | Dallas Fashion PhotographerMay 05, 2011Recently I have had the pleasure of being mentored by the Dallas photographic artist Elena Hernandez. She has been opening up my little photographic world to flash photography. She is a great teacher with an effortless style. She really is an artist and I am so glad to have her nudging me into trying new and different things.
Last Sunday, she invited me along to a outdoor and studio session. I am still processing all of the information she shared. I think my poor lonely little flash will be getting some new friends soon.
Obviously this session was all about old Hollywood GLAMOUR. What fun! Thought I would share some of my photos from the session with you.
Elena was the main photographer, so I was sneaking around taking photos from all different angles as she guided the model. On several occasions, Elena allowed me to jump right in using her flash and directing our beautiful subject Ginger.
Hope you enjoy these images as they really are a departure for me. I love the drama and glamour, and I hope Elena will invite me along again soon. (hint, hint... wink, wink)
