What a Great Day! | Family Photographer in Deep Ellum and AllenMay 19, 2012I think I have fallen in love all over again! After two years of waiting, wishing and saving, I bought a new camera! I am smitten, but please don't tell my hubby. He just might be jealous!
My camera arrived yesterday and waiting for the battery to charge was grueling! I took a few shots of my little guy just before bed. I could barely sleep last night from the excitement of getting to use my new camera at a family session this morning. Last evening, the family asked if we could change the location to Deep Ellum. I was over the moon. A new camera, a beautiful family and one of my favorite locations? Why yes! I was glad they could not see my happy dance, as my happy dances are not exactly pretty!
What a fantastic morning. We laughed and had a great time searching out hidden and not so hidden spots to use. This is why I love Urban sessions. It is like having 50 studios in 5 blocks. As the photos loaded, I squealed! I love them, and I hope the M family will too! Just to prove how excited I am, I am actually sharing a sneak peek on the day of the shoot! (OK... Did not finish this post until after midnight, but I started it before lunch!)
Miss M was trying to teach me how to cheer for the Rangers. As a fan of the Braves for years, I find this hard to do.
This look of adoration just melted my heart.
Not only was my morning session fun, I had the best time this evening with another M family! I wanted to bring these great kiddos home with me. I was totally smitten with Mr. J. I called him Will Smith, as his smile and fun nature kept me laughing. That and he is every bit as cute as the Fresh Prince ever was.
You can feel how close this family is and how much they love each other. It really made my night to get to hang out with them and I still have a big smile on my face as I type this.
It was the best way to end a day that was full of fun, families and laughter.
