Family FunNovember 20, 2008I had so much fun this week photographing the Y family. Can you believe how good looking they are? Those of you who have been reading the blog will recognize N and A, the mommy and son. This time Mr. T (just had to type that!) was along for the shoot.
The Y family was great fun to photograph. Mr. T was so easy to work with and so great with A. Their love for each other and A is obvious. I made them kiss for quite a while trying to get this shot, and they did not seem to mind at all. A was totally not concerned about all the kissing, so I can only guess he is rather accustomed to it. They were willing to try every shot I wanted to take of them.
Parents should take a cue from T and N, if you are calm and relaxed during the photo session, your children will be too. T and N played and had fun with A and his attention span lasted for a long time. They really made my job so much easier.
I love to sneak an extra shot here and there. These moments between the "real" shots are quite often my favorite. I love this little moment of intimacy between father and son, and the way the photo portrays the sweetness of this relationship. Children grow so fast and it is really an honor to be able to capture the little quiet moments and freeze them in time forever.
