Christmas Cards

As I have mentioned here on the blog before, my lovely daughter does not like to have her photo taken. I hear it is a classic condition that many photographer's children develop early in life. The normal bribes that work with other kiddos fail to work for our own children, but still we try. I think next year I am going to have to hire my friend Jennifer to take photos of the Princess for our card.

Still, I thought you might enjoy some of the "lovely" shots I was able to capture. Seriously, why is it that I can take great photos of everyone's child but my own? Oh, well. Here they are for your amusement!

We took these photos this past weekend at the Dallas Arboretum and it was the most beautiful day. I had such high hopes, and they were dashed by my beautiful toddler. My Saint of a Husband did his best, but she was just not going to look at me or the camera. I am sure I will get a good picture of her at some point, so those of you on my Christmas card list, this year it may be a Valentine's Day card instead!
