Pretty Pink, Green and LavenderFebruary 21, 2009All the cooking and cleaning of yesterday was well worth it. The house was filled with pretty pink, green and lavender decorations and some really tasty treats just in time for a baby shower today.
You remember Momma Y from her maternity shoot?
Well, we planned to have a baby shower for her back in January, but her doctor thought Baby S might make an early appearance, so we decided to schedule the shower after her due date. Well, wouldn't you know it, Little Miss S held out and did not appear until her due date!
Well today we honored these lovely ladies with some pretty presents and some great company. You know I have to share! I am really loving the whole wrapping paper as a table topper idea. Great way to add color to a table scape on the cheap. I loved this polka dot paper and it fit the color scheme so well. I was really excited to pull out my glass snack sets and put them to good use. (Thanks Mom for bringing some more last weekend.)
D made cookies to go with our color and polka dot theme. As usual, I ate way to many of them.
Here is Momma Y with her giant diaper cake. T and J did such a great job and I loved the cute little bear on top. Can you believe that she had a baby just a few weeks ago?
Here she is again surrounded by pretty bags and fun little girl clothes. I hope everyone had as much fun as we did and we wish the very best to Baby S.
