Texas Bluebonnets March 22, 2009What a little trooper I had the honor of photographing today. Poor little fellow is cutting six teeth and hung in there as I busily snapped these shots of him today. He is usually such a smiling and happy little guy. I just hate to see anyone in pain.
We wanted some good Texas in the Spring photos. Naturally we found a great big field of bluebonnets, and set this fellow right down in them.
In very typical boy fashion he had little interest in flowers and was much more concerned with the airplanes and helicopters that were flying overhead.
He is such an active guy we had quite the time trying to convince him to sit in the field. He wanted to be up exploring and checking it all out.
We broke down and pulled out the secret weapons. First weapon of choice was an Easter Basket and a cute little Easter Chick. Not a real chick for goodness sake! Just a cute little yellow ball of a chick. Here he is holding up the chick for me to see.
We also tossed a few plastic eggs around for him to "find". He was really getting the hang of the Easter basket and eggs before the session was over.
Once he figured out how to hold the basket and pick up the eggs at the same time, he became a force to be reckoned with. See what I mean?
Our little trooper was finally rewarded with the big prize, and I hope Mom and Dad will forgive me for dosing him with sugar at the end of the session. Once he realized this bunny was made of chocolate, well he made quick work of the sweet treat.
Hope all of you had a great Sunday. I know I did.
