Who Am I?
What is your story? Sure you landed on my site today looking for a photographer, maybe you want a business headshot, a senior session, commercial images or a fashion spread, but at the heart of the matter you want to tell a story, after all that's what a photograph does, it tells a story. The real question is what story do you want your photographs to tell?

Ask anyone who knows me and they will tell you, I LOVE to tell a story. I'll spin a great yarn in nothing flat, but I live to capture a story in just the one brief moment a photograph holds. As a photographer I have lots of tools at my disposal to create just the right story for your brand, your life and your family history.

Anyone can click a shutter or press a button on their phone, but it takes a storyteller to create an image that will grab attention and captivate it's intended audience.

Why do we as humans love to photograph so, but hate the process of having to take them? Does anyone really like being in front of the camera? Even the most beautiful people in the world look at their photographs and find every single flaw. How do we become more comfortable in front of the camera? I meet with you before your session to talk about everything from wardrobe and make up to the best time of day and location for your needs. Let me get to know you and together we can create images you will love and cherish for years to come.

I'm on a creative journey....

I love people. I love stories. Photography brings those two together and allows me to be a visual storyteller. The last decade has been spent photographing children, families and products, while still constantly learning and seeking to hone my craft. I am an active member of my local Professional Photographer's guild, the Dallas PPA. The last few years I have entered the PPA's International Print Competition and stretched my creative muscles. Earning 5 merits was just icing on the cake as I developed my skills and saw my creative visions come to life. In 2016 I earned the Certified Professional Photographer designation from the PPA. As much as I love to photograph, I also love to teach. Teaching other photographers how to expand their own creativity is a speciality. My family is my heart, and you can often find me volunteering at their schools and sporting events.
